I discussed a wide range of topics, such as the family structure, spirituality, the war of life, love, my own personal family and the existential need to fight for beauty. Wow – you covered a lot!
A lot of sociological Functionalist theory (Talcott Parsons et al) with regards to the role of family, a bit of ‘drug, set and setting’ in there with regards to alcohol use and even a bit of ‘self fulfilling prophecy’ thrown in for good measure 👍
And, of course, your amazing poem too! Loved it 😁
A particular highlight for me was ‘if a dog isn’t loyal then there’s no point keeping it around’ – I can certainly relate to that concept.
Oh, and that whole ‘rite of passage’ thing absolutely exists for women too. I can attest to that 👍

As always, thanks charmer! I’m really glad you enjoy my work and I do put a lot of effort into the thought processes of each episode. Its honestly so cool that you recognize them!!!The alcohol aspect is an interesting one. Its something I often contemplate (often with a beer or two of my own) in regards to its effect on artists over the millennia. The rite of passage concept from a women’s perspective is something I’m admittedly somewhat ignorant of, at least compared to the masculine aspect. Its something I’d like to learn more about. Again, thank you so much, Just filmed the next episode today, Hope you tune in when it airs on Wednesday!! and p.s definitely correct me if I’m ever wrong about anything, now or in the future lol!!
