The first coin flip occurs in the morning,
or often early afternoon,
deciding whether you will actually wake up
after the previous night’s debacle.
The second occurs eminently after
and decides whether you spend the morning puking
or drinking coffee.
Number three occurs when you light your first smoke,
do you calmly keep it down or spit up bile?
The fourth occurs after the hangover subsides.
It’s the most malevolently influential of flips
And it’s served as a double jab to the head:
Will you feel miserable?
Should you hit the liquor store?
